                        | | The article discusses the issues of calculating the probability and possible forecast of earthquakes using eastern cycles (60 and 12-year calendar, monthly, mange, new moon and 24-hour cycle according to universal (UTC) and local time). The comparison is made with 1,132 earthquakes over 122 years from 1901 to 2022 (44,250 days, presented as a time series). Different earthquake probabilities in different calendar cycles indicate the possibility of a potential forecast in calculated cycles. As an example, a calendar analysis of the eastern calendar (Tibetan version) of the catastrophic earthquake in Japan on March 11, 2022 was considered. Keywords:earthquakes, forecast, eastern calendar, time cycles, data analysis. | |
