VIEWS SELECTION IN RELATIONAL DATABASES AND DATA WAREHOUSES

Using views in databases of various types can be useful in a wide variety of situations. This article analyses the most well known heuristic algorithms proposed in the literature to solve the problem of views selection. The methods of views selection that have been proposed in the literature in order to optimize databases are discussed.
