ORGAN FAILURE TYPES IN PATIENTS WITH PURULENT NECROTIC INFECTION OF THE SKIN AND SOFT TISSUES

Nowadays sepsis definition considers detected organ failure in patients with infection. The kind of organ failure that determines the algorithm of therapeutic measures, including the timing of surgical debridement. The retrospective analysis included 1300 patients with purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and soft tissues accompanied by sepsis, according to sepsis-3 definition. The patterns of development of early and late organ failures were studied. It was found, that septic acute kidney injury is the most common clinical manifestation of sepsis in this category of patients.
