The information flows in an educational organization are considered, the goals and objectives of the analysis of information flows are suggested. The processes and results of the implementation of information flow management processes in an educational organization are analyzed. Step-by-step assessment method of the information flows state of an educational organization is proposed. The necessity and effectiveness of using the methodology in an educational organization are substantiated. The achievement of the goals of analyzing the information flows of an educational organization through the use of a methodology for assessing the state of information flows is justified.
