METHODS OF COMBINATORIAL OPTIMIZATION AND SYSTEM ANALYSIS FOR IMPROVING QUALITY OF PRODUCTION PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Combinatorial optimization is universal due to the indivisibility of resources and a limited number of possible solutions. However, its tasks are characterized by high computational complexity and often belong to the class of NP-hard problems. Optimal control of technological processes requires taking into account specifics of information flows and structural features of production systems. Exact methods are often impractical because of exponential growth in computational effort. The study proposes a hybrid approach combining systematic analysis of technological processes with heuristics for searching acceptable solutions within reduced solution spaces. This method enhances management efficiency while maintaining a balance between solution quality and resource consumption.
