Culturological aspect of the translation of English legal texts

The article is devoted to the current topic of cultural adaptation of the original legal text, caused both by the transition from the source language to the translating language, and by the change of the legal paradigm. Lexical, syntactic and stylistic aspects of translation are considered from the standpoint of achieving equivalence and adequacy of translation. Culturally caused difficulties of translation are illustrated by numerous examples demonstrating the presence of translation transformations, which allow successfully solving a communicative problem.
