Proposed analysis of specific features of the culture of Evens of Lamynkhinsky Okrug (Kobyaysky District) in respect of identity, natural resource management and business practices. As a basic hypothesis we propose that tourist industries would help in preservation of cultural specifics in the local community. Addressed subjects were: characterization of ethno-cultural climate – traditional natural resource management and cultural practices of Evens of Lamynkhinsky Okrug, show transformation and continuity of economic and cultural composition that defines the process of ethnic identity; substantiate the potential of tourism as means of revival of Lamynkha component of Even culture (the proposal of a mix tour to Sebyan-Kyuyol). Interdisciplinary and sociocultural approaches were utilized. As primary, reconstruction method was used. Carried out a semiotic analysis of select natural and cultural sites of selo Sebyan-Kyuyol. As part of the study were used methods of expert survey, participatory methods. Field studies have confirmed the existence of a defined standalone Lamynkha component of Even culture, which constitutes a culture of highlanders, reindeer-herders, hunters and fishmongers; distinct from the Anabar and Magadan Even cultures; with established forms of economic management and communication. Lamynkha Evens speak in their own dialect; have an endonym; are conscious of their oneness: cultivate and mythologize their common history (which is distinct from the history of Evens of other regions). Proven that the project of mix tour will: promote local employment; create a positive ethnic identity in population of this ethnic area.
