Meaning determinants of the reconstruction of the identity of migrants

Based on an analysis of group and individual non-standardized interviews, the article describes categories that reflect the differentiated aspects of the semantic significance of distressors when migrant Muslims adapt to their new sociocultural environment. From a substantive point of view, the identified categories are correlated with the target, selfevaluating, normative and activity aspects of the meaning sphere of personality.
