Figure poetry as dialogue of cultures

The article analyzes the concept of "figure poetry" as a part of visual poetry. The research traces the history of the origin, development and interaction of figure poems in the historical and cultural paradigm. The article also traces patterns in the use of verbal and visual components in figure poetry of different cultures.
