Transformation of family values in modern culture: parenthood or self-realization?

The article deals with the problems of parenthood in modern culture associated with the transformation of family values. Today, the family faces not only economic, geopolitical, and environmental challenges, but also a value reorientation. And, if the family is the most important socio-cultural institution, then parenthood is the core component of the family. Through the chosen forms of interaction, values, accumulated experience are transferred, a personality is formed. If we talk about the fact that a person is formed in a family: socialized, cultivated, develops an identity, then with distorted forms of parenthood, these processes break down.
