This article analyzes the essence, foundations, functions of such phenomena as "civil culture", "legal culture", "civil law culture" in order to determine their structural components, which in turn will allow them to be filled with modern content in accordance with the specifics professional community of military personnel. The purpose of this study is to consider the concept of civil law culture from two positions and to form the most relevant interpretation of the concept under study from the point of view of professional identity. On the one hand, civic culture acts as a basic phenomenon, the basis of civic self-identification, and legal culture acts as a meaningful component of civic culture. With another on the other hand, legal culture is an integrative quality of the individual, the basis of legal socialization, and civil culture reflects its attribution, non-professional, general social perspective.
