Features of thinking in persons in adulthood with mental retardation

The article is a study of the features of the development of thinking in adults with mental retardation, who are in a psycho-neurological boarding school. The paper presents data from a diagnostic study of thinking in people aged 33–45 in terms of analysis and synthesis operations, categorical thinking, the ability to build connections, general everyday knowledge and understanding of figurative meaning.
