DIFFICULTIES OF RECOGNIZING OWN EMOTIONS IN ECOLOGICAL SITUATIONS ANONG THE YOUNG POPULATION

Various ecological situations cause an emotional response in people. However, not all people know how to recognize and name their emotions. This condition is called alexithymia. This study revealed the difficulty of understanding and naming their feelings among young people. Alexithymic manifestations make it difficult to form ecological consciousness. The development of emotional intelligence and empathy will contribute to the development of the emotional component of ecological consciousness and ecological compassion.
