Echo of unconscious affect: transmission of mental trauma

This article examines the problem of understanding the transmission of mental trauma through time and generations, which is of current interest today. Mental trauma is considered by the author in the context of such concepts as "individual trauma", "collective trauma" and "historical trauma". The conducted research is built on the analysis of specialized foreign and domestic literature. And in the end the author achieves his goal - to show a possible additional facet in the understanding of the transmission of mental trauma in the psychosocial context.
