The article provides a psychological analysis of the use of coping strategies by students during their studies at the university in conditions of prolonged stress of the Luhansk People's Republic. The features of the use of coping strategies by students, depending on the course of study, are revealed. The necessity of further development and implementation of integrated socio-psychological programs aimed at preserving and activating compensatory, protective and regulatory mechanisms that ensure stress resistance, efficiency and comprehensive harmonious development of the personality of students under constant stress is substantiated.
