The article presents the results of an experimental study involving 343 children and adolescents with speech disorders and learning difficulties, aged from 3 to 16 years. The effect of motor training on the state of the vestibulo-ocular reflex of the subjects was assessed. Before the training, it was established by instrumental studies that all subjects had reduced sensory reactivity of the vestibular apparatus. To assess the vestibulo-ocular reflex, which reflects the quality of communication between the vestibular system and the oculomotor apparatus, a dynamic visual acuity test was conducted, as well as measuring the duration of post-rotational nystagmus. After individual motor training, which took place daily for 15 days, a repeated test of dynamic visual acuity was conducted. It was shown that the younger the child, the more pronounced changes in dynamic visual acuity were achieved during the training. The training indicators have a negative correlation with the post-rotational nystagmus assessment indicators. The worse the post-rotational nystagmus indices were before the training, the higher the effectiveness. The dynamic visual acuity test is simple and can be carried out in any educational institution to identify children at risk and to assess the effectiveness of training.
