this article explores the psychological aspects related to the process of digitalization in society and governmental administration systems. The author focuses on the significant changes in human consciousness and behavior triggered by the integration of digital technologies and the transformation of the public informational environment. Digitalization leads to various serious social and psychological issues, such as the growth in information flows, the complexity of their structure and content, the emergence of informational "viruses," and the differentiation of society based on access to digital resources. These changes contribute to the formation of "digital bubbles"—social groups varying in levels of digital literacy and access to digital services. As a result, there is increased polarization of opinions, a decline in critical thinking, and a tendency to seek information that confirms pre-existing beliefs.
Keywords:digitalization, psychological impacts, informational viruses, strategic psychology, opinion polarization, destructive social epidemics, political psychology
