The article presents the results of a comprehensive study devoted to the study of changes in individual psychological characteristics of an individual under the influence of the rapid development of the digital economy. In the course of the work, an original methodology was developed that combines quantitative and qualitative methods: a large-scale survey of 250 respondents, psychological testing and in-depth content analysis of the interview. The data obtained made it possible to identify sustainable shifts in the cognitive, emotional-personal and behavioral spheres of a modern person. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of three key aspects of transformation. In the cognitive sphere, the formation of clip thinking, a decrease in the ability to concentrate for a long time with a simultaneous increase in the speed of information processing are noted. In the behavioral aspect, the development of specific forms of digital addiction associated with a constant need for online interaction was revealed. The study demonstrates the non-linear nature of the relationship between the intensity of digital activity and psychological changes, highlighting the critical points of digital stress, beyond which the adaptation mechanisms fail. For the first time, a four-component typology of strategies for adaptation to the digital environment has been proposed and empirically substantiated, taking into account professional and age-related characteristics of the individual. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the data to develop psychological support programs, adapt educational methods and corporate practices aimed at optimizing human interaction with the digital environment.
