DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION IN STALINGRAD IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 1930S: DIFFICULTIES, RESULTS

The article identifies and examines the problem of implementing the tasks of introducing universal seven-year education and eliminating illiteracy among the Stalingrad population by the Department of Public Education of the Stalingrad City Council. The author explains the activities and difficulties encountered in creating a unified education system and outlines the prospects laid down during this historical period for the subsequent implementation of a unified education system.
