COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ARGUMENTATIVE STRATEGIES IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN ARGUMENTATIVE DISCOURSE AND DEVELOPMENT OF METHODOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TEACHING STUDENTS OF A LANGUAGE UNIVERSITY ORAL AND WRITTEN REASONED STATEMENTS

This article presents a comparative analysis of argumentative strategies in English and Russian discourses, emphasizing the importance of developing effective argumentative skills in intercultural communication. Particular attention is paid to the linguistic, psycholinguistic, and cultural aspects of argumentation. Strategies such as motivational, control, and agonal are analyzed using content analysis, discourse analysis, and cross-cultural research methods. Based on the analysis, the authors develop methodological recommendations for teaching language university students oral and written reasoned statements.
