This study examines and analyzes the results of a survey conducted among Arab students to identify the cultural shocks and barriers they experienced while studying in Russia. The respondents were Arab medical students from the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the first, second, and third year various medical programs. The survey aimed to gather feedback from international students on different aspects of student life in Moscow, including housing conditions, quality of education, social interactions with Russians and cultural differences. Based on the analysis of the respondents' answers, the article offers some recommendations for educational institutions and educators to enhance the speed and quality of students’ adaptation and integration process within the Russian educational environment.
