TYPES AND DIFFERENCES OF MIXED MARRIAGES

in the context of globalization, the proportion of exogamous marriages has increased significantly, gradually becoming the norm in modern society, especially in multi-ethnic countries. The study of mixed marriages becomes relevant for the humanities, requiring the differentiation of relevant concepts. There are several approaches to the typology of interethnic marriages, presented by various authors, differing in the principles of research and the identification of main types. The article analyzes the literature on this topic, identifies key approaches and proposes its own working typology, including main and secondary types of mixed families, and also provides a working definition of mixed marriage, taking into account ethnic, national, religious and racial characteristics.
